La emigración hacia el cebado “norte económico” es un viaje iniciático colectivo y forzado, parecido, en algunos aspectos, al viaje iniciático individual y voluntario de los emisores creadores (Los llamados “artistas”).
Los componentes de M-20 han pasado por viajes iniciáticos, crueles y devastadores, creativos y fortalecedores al tiempo. Han perdido, han dejado atrás tantas cosas que ya ni recuerdan donde quedaron. El modesto nivel moral e intelectual al que hayan podido llegar, se deben más que a su bondad y formación, a su deseo de resistir. Sienten tan dentro y con tanta intensidad el sufrimiento iniciático de la emigración económica, los desplazados y el de los seres humanos necesitados de refugio, que se atreven a desarrollar esta obra en común, colectivamente. La idea inicial que conciben con intensidad, es común a todos los componentes de M-20, los viajes iniciáticos individuales de los mismos son muy parecidos, y recuerdan demasiado a la emigración iniciática.
M-20, como conclusión de su viaje iniciático artístico, plantea que:
- El paquete de arte-información, materialización de una idea inicial, concebida y materializada por un emisor creador (en este caso, M-20), debe llegar a los receptores con intensidad.
- El paquete de arte-información debe ser nuevo, descubriendo caminos de transmisión de información, decir algo como no se había dicho.

El pasado 10-8-2009 plantó un cartel diferente a los anteriores en las calles de esta ciudad experimental.
Un cartel políticamente correcto, que aparentemente no denuncia nada, estructurado en casillas ordenadas, en pequeños núcleos de felicidad y un texto simplemente descriptivo que lo completa. El rectángulo central, el formado por el cuadrado ajedrezado y el texto, es un rectángulo PHI
y el exterior, el que inscribe al anterior con el e-mail y la dirección del blog, el de la hoja DIN A3, responde a la proporción = 1,41421 35623 73095 04880 16887 24209 69807 85696 71875 37694 80731 76679 73799. El ajedrezado, las habitaciones, forman un cuadrado mágico: Los números que las ocupan sumados, en vertical, horizontal y las diagonales dan 15. Un mundo perfecto, medido y productivo, con sus camas y electrodomésticos, un mundo feliz. Hasta los grises están distribuidos simétricamente en vertical, horizontal y en diagonal (El cartel es una fotocopia en blanco y negro, barata. M-20 plantea un arte no-espectáculo y barato, en contraposición al arte espectáculo-caro en vigor, utilizado por la curia romana del mundo del arte para la promoción de la mediocre y ecléctica posmodernidad). Y aunque la estética visual, tiene papel en esta materialización de la idea, para nosotros sigue sin ser lo fundamental y determinante para llegar con intensidad, prescindir del color por encarecer la obra, nos deja indiferentes.El reparto de las casillas (Habitaciones) y personajes, responden a la distribución que establece el Feng Shui y 7 de ellos quieren representar un duelo de la emigración (Salvo la 5 y la 6). Los muebles también se distribuyen según los principios del Feng Shui (Ya saben, aquello del yin y el yan). Todos están encamados, porque van a casa sólo para dormir, el resto del tiempo están trabajando.
- 1 - Según el Feng Shui esta es la casilla de los antepasados, en ella hay un armario y duerme Chinua Achebe de Nigeria, representa el duelo por la separación de familiares y amistades. A pesar de la explotación a la que es sometido todos lo días, sueña con volver a ver a sus padres, su mujer, sus hijos, estar cerca de los antepasados.
- 2 - Luba, que nació en el Congo vive (Duerme) en la casilla de los amigos generosos en la que hay un sofá, representa el duelo por la pérdida de los paisajes, la tierra. Ha pasado mucho miedo, ha perdido muchos amigos, verdaderamente ha realizado un viaje iniciático, ahora simplemente es un hombre bueno y ya no siente temor por nada.
- 3 - Juan Pablo vive en la casilla del fuego, del yo, tiene una lámpara al lado de su cama, representa el duelo por la pérdida del status social. Quiere volver a Colombia rico y famoso.
- 4 - Amaru, Hortensia y Norbey son ecuatorianos y ocupan la casilla de la familia, su duelo es por la cultura y en su cuarto hay una lavadora. Su sueño por un pedazo de tierra los acerca origen.
- 5 - Leonardo, María del Rosario y William Guillermo son de Honduras y ocupan la casilla central del yin y el yan con una mesa redonda. Son los inquilinos oficiales y legales del cuadrado ajedrezado, son los que realquilan todas las casillas a los demás componentes del grupo. El dueño legal de la casa es “el subastero”, que adquirió el cuadrado ajedrezado en una subasta del juzgado, que desalojaba a una familia que no podía pagar la hipoteca que debía al banco. La familia desahuciada, naturalmente culpa a “estos emigrantes de mierda que ocupan nuestras casas”.
Conocimos a un niño de 2 años que se llama Rodrigo, hijo de un artista conceptual madrileño y amigo de M-20. Ese niño sin saberlo, sentó las bases de la única ley ética que justifica la propiedad privada: Le llevamos como regalo, un mono que tocaba el tambor y una armónica. Al percibir que el mono era suyo, se fue al patio y se metió con él detrás de un masetero que cerro con una silla. No permitía que traspasáramos el ámbito de seguridad e intimidad, donde él disfrutaba solo de su juguete. Era su nuevo útero materno de seguridad e intimidad, todos respetamos su deseo. El rectángulo formado por la esquina, el masetero y la silla, era de su exclusiva propiedad, el niño tenia derecho moral a la posesión y dominio de aquel pedacito de patio.
¿Cómo justificar la propiedad de algo que no se conoce, no se ama o desea, no proporciona seguridad o intimidad?: Con las leyes. Las leyes posibilitan que una persona posea algo que no conoce y otra necesita. En realidad, los legisladores son los únicos responsables de que alguien pueda poseer o pueda ser desposeído de algo.
La “cama caliente”, en realidad es una cama compartida, el que trabaja de día, duerme de noche, el que trabaja de noche duerme de día. Las leyes permiten que dos personas tengan que compartir la cama y otra sea propietaria de esa cama, que no ha visto.
- 6 - Luandino Vieira es de Angola, ocupa la casilla del conocimiento en la que se encuentran el televisor y el ordenador. Analiza la sociedad del norte económico y afirma: Los empresarios del primer mundo padecen un Trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo del tipo acumuladores (Como los coleccionistas de arte) y la clase media del mismo, narcisismo patológico (Como los comisarios, curadores o conservadores y que ya nadie sabe como llamarlos). En un primer momento quiso organizar una ONG para ayudarlos (Las ONGs son la privatización de los ministerios de asuntos sociales), pero luego entendió que las ciencias psicológicas y psiquiátricas eran incapaces de devolverlos a su estado de normalidad de sensibilidad y felicidad. En el primer mundo, empresarios, “clase media”, coleccionistas y comisarios, viven en un estado alterado de conciencia permanente, la mayoría social viven en un estado de alienación permanente.
¿Recuerdan a Desmond Morris, autor de “El Mono Desnudo”, una especie de retrato zoológico del homo sapiens? Pues bien, Luandino Vieira quiere retratar al poderoso Homo Sapiens Imperatum, e intenta entender al Homo Sapiens Alienatum. Como si de una especie desconocida y encontrada en un rincón de la selva, se tratara. Tú, Gran Secuestrador de la Riqueza y tu perro faldero, el Gran Conservateur, el Gran Curator, sois observados por Luandino. M-20 considera a Luandino un artista conceptual porque afirmó: Un ser humano alienado no puede ser un emisor-creador porque sólo repetiría el mensaje de su secuestrador.
Desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial (Bretton Woods, 1944), los secuestradores de la riqueza, los dueños de nuestras vidas, cedieron bienestar a los asalariados del “norte Económico”, seguridad social, educación, sanidad, poder adquisitivo, enseñanza y formación, cobertura en el desempleo, etc. Mejores productores, MEJORES CONSUMIDORES. Las materias primas se traían del sur económico de forma muy barata. Había que montar un escaparate de cara a la alternativa económica e ideológica que tenían en frente.
Tras la caída del Muro de Berlín en los 90, finaliza el miedo del capitalismo. Los secuestradores de la riqueza gobiernan abiertamente por encima del poder político. La globalización, deslocalización y el neoliberalismo: Les gustaría convertir al sur económico en un gran campo de concentración productivo, no sólo producen materias primas baratas, además, mano de obra de miseria para las empresas de la metrópolis. Las “clases medias” surgidas en el norte, en el periodo anterior, también necesitan ser proletarizadas (Precarizadas, el sistema sin “enemigo”, necesita abaratar costes), productores y gestores del sistema, alienados con medios de comunicación dirigidos, formación especializada unidireccionalmente sólo productiva, generadores de riqueza medio pobres, medio ricos y endeudados hasta el alma para poder seguir consumiendo.
¿Hedonismo?, los componentes del M-20 se declaran hedonistas, buscan los placeres que pueda ofrecer la vida. El consumo, más tiene que ver con las adicciones al juego, las drogas, el consumo, etc. que con el hedonismo, mas tiene que ver con la necesidad de satisfacer las frustraciónes que genera el capitalismo mismo. ¿Es esta la justificación del sistema de Daniel Bell y Lipovetsky?, insistimos, con la formación especializada unidireccionalmente sólo productiva, los teóricos del sistema se quedan muy cortitos. Si usted tiene un problema legal, ¿Llama a un médico? ¿Llama a un abogado para que lo opere de apendicitis? ¿Son los sociólogos de la posmodernidad los nuevos teóricos de la creación artística? En ellos descansan tres ideas básicas:
- Sólo analiza la zona privilegiada y minoritaria del norte económico, y sólo el momento que mas favorece su tesis (1950-1995).
- La justificación del capitalismo con el consumismo de tarjeta de crédito. (Hoy en 2009, no es que se pague con lo que no se tiene, se paga con lo que no se va tener o te endeuda de por vida). ¿Hedonismo?, es el estatus, el prestigio lo que se mide con el consumo. Simplemente son positivistas, aceptan y promueven la aceptación en la sociedad de los fenómenos que se presentan en el sistema, simplemente se aceptan porque existen, porque se producen y son inevitables.
- La justificación del ecléctico posmodernismo, rechazo de lo nuevo, lo no controlable, lo no neutralizado por las instituciones encargadas del control (El Gran Curator).
A todo esto ¿Alguien sabe lo que es un comisario de arte?
¿Qué hacen? ¿Cual es su función? ¿Para que sirven? ¿De donde salen?, Ya sé, ¿SOCIÓLOGOS DE LA POSMODERNIDAD?
- 7 - Sandra Patricia es de Bolivia y ocupa la casilla del trabajo y en ella hay una cocina. Representa el duelo por la pérdida de contacto con el grupo étnico de origen. Los países receptores de la emigración nunca entendieron el regalo que les llegaba: Mano de obra cualificada y profesional cuya formación no había costado nada al Estado. Uno de los componentes de M-20, tras sufrir un accidente de tráfico, tuvo que ser operado de la tibia, rota a diferentes alturas. La operación consistía en introducir en la pierna un soporte metálico que sujetara los pedacitos del hueso. El equipo médico que realizo la operación y tras múltiples radiografías de la zona, vino a enterarse a los tres meses que el soporte metálico era más grande que la tibia y sobresalía por la articulación. La operación de extracción del Fierro la llevo a cabo un médico argentino. Los médicos en Canarias (En el norte económico), aprueban antes el carnet del club de golf que el MIR (Médico Interno Residente, la formación de especialistas), ¿Recuerdan a Luandino Vieira y el Narcisismo patológico de los profesionales del primer mundo?
El prestigio de los profesionales se centra en su capacidad de consumo. En Canarias necesitaremos profesionales del llamado tercer mundo, profesionales que se hayan formado fuera de Bolonia y fuera de universidades con el rectorado instalado en la cámara de comercio.
Recordar que uno de los factores determinantes en la desaparición de la antigua Unión Soviética consistía en la inoperancia y anquilosamiento del estado funcionarial con pensamiento funcionarial y sin capacidad de decisión e improvisación. Conocen algún profesional del “primer mundo” que no se entregue con fervor al llamado PROTOCOLO. El funcionariado y el neofuncionariado no tiene que improvisar, pensar. Con las privatizaciones de antiguos servicios estatales, el estado no se hace cargo directamente, sólo paga: Si llama al medico de la sanidad pública y dice que está muy mal y no puede moverse, le dirá está atendiendo a otro paciente y le manda una ambulancia. La primera ambulancia determina que sólo está preparada para el traslado y no sabe si puede mover al enfermo y llama su central, la segunda, capacitada para el mantenimiento de la vida y con enfermeros cualificados, se encuentra a un enfermo que ha empeorado, le mantienen las constantes y llaman a la tercera con médico, llega el médico y determina: Que lo lleven a urgencias. La empresa de ambulancias pasó la cuenta de tres viajes. ¿No recuerdan aquel barco polaco, en puerto durante meses porque faltaba una pieza de la radio?
¿El capitalismo triunfante de las tarjetas, el consumo y el hedonismo?: “A cada cerdo le llega su San Martín”.
- 8 - Fátima es de Mauritania su habitación es la del dinero y en él hay un frigorífico, el duelo que representa es el de la lengua materna. Para ella el éxito equivale a tener dinero. El dinero ha terminado siendo la medida de todo. Poder adquisitivo, poder, libertad, etc. No, todo. Para el sistema, hasta el pensamiento vale dinero.
Este trabajo, el cartel, pegarlo en la calle, el texto, las fotos y filmaciones que genera, su difusión, etc., M-20 considera que no se puede medir con dinero. El sistema no te mantiene para que crees obra que lo cuestione, o simplemente no controle. Ganarse la vida al margen del arte, proporciona mucha independencia y libertad de creación, ¡Sinceridad! Que no perfección.
En este punto, en la habitación Fátima, en la casa del dinero, M-20 proclama: ¡VIVA MÉXICO, CABRONES!
- 9 - Habacuc es un artista costarricense, duerme en la casilla de la creatividad, tiene un espejo y representa el duelo por la pérdida de seguridad física.
Habacuc es un espejo de la sociedad que lo circunda. Cuando vivía en Costa Rica vio como Natividad, un vagabundo nicaragüense, moría bajo las fauces de unos perros que defendían la propiedad. Él dejó morir de hambre a un perro que llamó Natividad, en la Bienal de arte de Costa rica. La sensible y clase media del primer mundo, entabló una campaña en Internet en protesta por el asesinato de Natividad-perro. Habacuc vio la indiferencia de la sociedad costarricense ante la muerte de Natividad-humano, quiso estudiar la indiferencia de mundo del arte ante la muerte de Natividad-perro y ha provocado la militancia sensible de la clase media del norte ante la muerte de Natividad-perro y la indiferencia de ese mismo sector de la población del norte ante la muerte Natividad-humano.
La actividad funcionarial, cuasifuncionarial o neofuncionarial de la clase media del norte, que no les permite pensar, que los embrutece, no les permite ver el sufrimiento de las personas que viven al lado. Es total la indiferencia de estos productores alienados, ante la muerte de Natividad-humano y el sufrimiento de los emigrantes con los que tienen que convivir.
Y para concluir este escrito, recalcar como el mundo oficial del arte, el mundo profesional (¿?) y funcionarial del arte, esta aislado de la sociedad. Gasta los fondos públicos que aportan los receptores y son incapaces de llegar a esos mismos receptores. Esta oficialidad es en realidad el mundo subterráneo del arte, si no fuera por Habacuc nadie sabría de la existencia de la Bienal de Arte de Costa Rica (En realidad de ninguna).
El camino de Santiago, que es un viaje iniciático, no termina en la ciudad del mismo nombre, Santiago de Compostela. Santiago simboliza la muerte del peregrino que renace en Finisterre, se vuelve a vivir en donde termina el mundo.
